I love it when she does that in the trailer...made me laugh. XD
Being in New Zealand and all, we watched the VMAs later than everyone else, which was sad. But I didn't watch it for the Twilight trailer. I wasn't even aware of the fact that they would show a new one. I watched it because of all the controversy surrounding it...like Taylor Swift, Kanye West, Lady Gaga and her weird performance...
Anyway. Kind of off topic there....=D

I have to disagree with what Sam said about Mike Newton. He doesn't truely like Bella OR Jessica. On pg 159 of the "Midnight Sun" draft that Stephenie Meyer posted on her site, it says,
"Mike became an unreliable veiwpoint from then on. He found, as he turned the idea of Jessica around and around in his head, that he rather liked the thought of her finding him attractive. It was second place, not as good as if Bella had felt that way...
...He was off then, on to new fantasies that were just as vulgar as the ones about Bella, but now they only irritated rather than infuriated. How little he deserved either girl; they were almost interchangable to him. I stayed clear of his head after that."
So you can see that Mike just wanted a girl; it didn't really matter who. Bella was only first choice because, as Sarah stated, she's new.
New Moon is almost out.
